This 1960 Caterpillar D9E direct drive crawler is powered by a 1473 cubic-inch, 6-cylinder turbocharged D353D engine and features a reliable 6-speed forward and reverse transmission. Originally configured as a cable dozer, this unit has been converted to a 13.5-foot hydraulic straight blade and is equipped with a rear ripper featuring two 4-foot swinging shanks. While the machine is currently non-operational and includes a gas pony motor start system, it offers a solid base for restoration or parts, highlighted by a newer SALT track on the left side.
