About this Transit

The 2018 Ford Transit is a full-size commercial van available in multiple configurations including Cargo Van, Passenger Wagon, Cutaway, and Chassis Cab. Three engine options are offered: a 3.7L Ti-VCT V6 gas engine producing 275 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque, a 3.5L EcoBoost V6 with 310 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque, and a 3.2L Power Stroke I5 diesel delivering 185 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque. All engines are paired with a six-speed SelectShift automatic transmission. The Transit offers three roof heights (Low, Medium, High), three wheelbases (130", 148", 148" extended), and multiple body lengths to suit various commercial applications from passenger transport to heavy cargo hauling.
