SMS Terms & Opt-In Policy
How the Proxy Equipment text messaging program works — what we send, how you opt in, and how to opt out at any time.
These terms govern text messages (SMS) sent by Proxy Equipment (a d/b/a of Inspection Consultants of Louisiana LLC, “we,” “us”). This policy stands on its own: agreeing to receive text messages is separate from, and never a condition of, any other agreement with us or any purchase.
What Messages We Send
Proxy Equipment sends transactional text messages only: one-time login verification codes (two-factor authentication) and account, delivery, and customer-support notifications related to your equipment listings or transactions. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
How You Opt In
You opt in by voluntarily providing your mobile phone number to Proxy Equipment and agreeing to receive text messages at that number — for example, when you add a mobile number to your portal profile, request a login code by text, or provide a number for delivery or support updates during a transaction. By doing so, you consent to receive the messages described above at that number, including messages sent via automated systems. Consent is not required as a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
Message Frequency & Rates
Message frequency varies based on your activity (for example, one message per login code request, plus occasional account or delivery notifications). Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
How to Opt Out
Reply STOP to any message from us to opt out at any time. After you reply STOP, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further texts. Opting out of text messages will not affect your ability to use our services through other channels (email, phone, or the website).

Privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent are shared only with the service providers that help us deliver the messages you have consented to receive (for example, our SMS delivery provider), and for no other purpose.
